Came in the mail today. Deck Three, Room 3524.

Use this thread to let Jeff Wagg know the US (and for Curnir) foreign mails have come through.

RSL, now you have me feeling bad (but not too bad, you've still got that good-looking girlfriend to console you--and if you don't, well...:( )

Beady, the mail cometh when it cometh. I'm sure by Monday-Tuesday you will be good to go.

Kind of unique, I thought, rather than an envelope with tickets and all, it's just a booklet with the ticket included as a couple of pages inside.

Note to all first-time cruisers--please be sure to real ALL the contract provisions and pricing information in the booklet--just to ensure you get no surprises.

Looked at the ship's layout, Deck Three is pretty deep down, but the room looks Ok and is near the elevator/steps.

Yeah, I know. But this is the first time in decades I've felt like a kid waiting for Christmas, and some of the other kids just got to open a present early, without me. :(

Sigh. I've done virtually everything I can do to get ready. I've even made up a set of "business" cards. 'Bout the only thing left is to make sure the camera battery is charged up. You have no idea how hard it is to keep from nagging Jeff, "Are we there, yet?" Meanwhile, we've set out the suitcases and are now tossing in the odd things that we might otherwise forget, as we think of them (the yet-to-be-autographed books were the first in). I'm going to have to be careful at work, not to get fired; I sit motionless at my desk for minutes at a time while having out-of-body experiences on the Gulf of Mexico.

Pack? I haven't even found my suitcase yet. :boxedin:

Boo

Uh-Oh. Nothing yet (Hey, Beady and I both live in the North Country....but I've gotten stuff via UPS now and again. I'm sure they know where I am by now.)

Maybe I shouldn't have opted for that unlisted Zip Code?

I wouldn't panic - you have all your receipts and payment documentation from Jeff & Joe - I'm sure they'll look after everything. Contact them and let 'em know you haven't received your packet - I'm sure they can sort something out.

I don't think there is anything particularly crucial inside - everything could be reprinted upon boarding. Just may take a little longer...

Well, I've preregistered and have our "Setsail Pass," and all the other documentation. I've sent Jeff a PM, no answer yet (he seems to have been strangely silent, the last several days). I guess about the only thing that could realistically go wrong is an airline strike; there was something on CNN a few days ago about such a possibility, but I've forgotten which airline was mentioned (we're flying US Airways) and I've heard nothing since.

Anyway, if I've heard nothing by Wednesday, I'm calling the cruise line, direct.

ETA: Oh! This is what I heard about US Airways: "US Airways to place ads on barf bags." Aren't we lucky?
