In a Law & Order world, the jackoff wannabeapreacher would now be going to trial.
I agree with the prosecutors, from my limited knowledge of the case. (Because I don't know what either side presented at trial). I think she knew what she was doing was wrong and she did it anyway because she truly believed that her, "bad mothering," was going to give them terrible lives and send them to hell. At least they're putting her away... for a while...
