XKCD on Conspiracy Theories

Another winner from XKCD. I headed over here to make sure it had been posted. :)

Gilmar, you must explaing your name to me please.

There's a Dungeons & Dragons game I've been playing in, off and on, for a couple of decades, and he's my main character. I essentially pulled the name out of thin air.

ZOMG, nerd alert!! :) (My main character was rolled up in 1988, and retired in 2000, but I don't use his name as a nick).

Cheers,
TGHO

This is my schoolbag. At work today, one of the girls I was tutoring pointed to the d20 and asked if we could play Dungeons & Dragons.

And then I remembered another thing I lost...

...I'm kidding, but it was pretty cool.

Though if your D&D name was indeed "The Great Hairy One," the campaign would have been a...unique one. :D

My character's name was Zageblyn Yoruguth, the insanely evil gnome assassin/illusionist. Not much different from TGHO, really. :p

How Nerdcore can you get?

"Trifikas" was a Gamma World Character of mine, sometime in the 80's.
