I'm sure there's a thread somewhere addressing this but I can't seem to find any using the forum search.....so sorry if this is repetitive.

Basically, I just want to know what the regulars here have figured out regarding the clip of the BBC newscaster reporting that WTC 7 had collapsed while it is visible in the background......I don't know enough about the clip's origins or the exact circumstances of the report, so I'm wondering if anyone here can shed some light on it for me.

The best I can figure is that someone at some point found out that the building "may collapse" and through the telephone effect, turned into "did collapse" thus the report.

Just a guess: The background was a replay?

Here is the thread about this.

And yes, your conclusion is what most sensible people in the thread tought.

Telephone game is pretty much it.

That, or it really was an inside job, and for some reason they felt the need to advertise....

It almost writes itself....

I think we have a comic for every major theory, now.

No, it was real-time.
The BBC reported the collapse of WTC7 before it actually collapsed, and Jane Standley didn't realise that the burning building in the background was the supposedly collapsed WTC7.

It is worth pointing out that some time earlier another news broadcaster (in fact probably many) were reporting that WTC7 was expected to collapse very shortly, or was already starting to collapse.

In case you want to see, what BBC themselves say about this, check these out:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2007/03/part_of_the_conspiracy_2.html

At 4.27pm, a BBC reporter, Greg Barrow, who is in New York, appears on our radio news channel, BBC Radio Five Live, and says: "We are hearing reports from local media that another building may have caught light and is in danger of collapse." He then responds to a follow-up question by saying "I'm not sure if it has yet collapsed but the report we have is talking about Building 7."

At 4.53pm, on the same radio station, the programme's presenter, Fi Glover says "25 minutes ago we had reports from Greg Barrow that another large building has collapsed just over an hour ago."

At 4.54pm, the BBC's domestic television news channel, BBC News 24, reports the same thing. Presenter Gavin Esler says: "We're now being told that yet another enormous building has collapsed... it is the 47-storey Salomon Brothers building."

And then at 4.57pm on BBC World (according to the clips available on the web) presenter Phil Hayton says: "We've got some news just coming in actually that the Salomon brothers building in NY right in the heart of Manhattan has also collapsed."

Because three BBC channels were saying this in quick succession, I am inclined to believe that one or more of the news agencies was reporting this, or at least reporting someone saying this.

I believe that was CNN.

You know, for such a brilliant plot by such a devious bunch, they sure are sloppy about hiding it.

I like how the CTists will claim that experts of CD on the scene were mistaken in the chaos, but reporters are supposed to get every detail correct.

CT says: this could not have simply been a mistake. News people dont make mistakes. this is clearly evidence of a script handed out by the NWO to all news agencies around the world.

Normal person says: it was a mistake. they were playing telephone, during a crazy day. itchy trigger finger..plus the desire to get the big scoop out as soon as possible, led to the error. news people DO make mistakes....thats because they are people..and not robots.

p.s....did anyone here even know WTC 7 existed before 9-11? I sure didnt...

So, you're saying that prior to 9/11 there was no evidence for the existence of WTC7?
This is PROOF that it's admitted by so called "skeptics" that not only were there no planes at the WTC the “buildings” that "collapsed" never even existed in the first place!

:p

Actually, I've no personal proof that WTC, New York, or even America exist. I just read about it. Could be a NWO trick for all I know.....

Aha. I've had the misfortune to visit Belgium. I know that they exist.

And I have actually met our First Minister (before he was such) and seen the Queen from afar. But I have high hopes that Tony Blair is a bit of NWO make believe......

actually the "Belgium" you visited was probably actually America, they like to screw with people that way.

I’ve met Blair a couple of times, and I can even confirm that John Prescott is not NWO propaganda!
Of course, the fact that I have had this contact with government means that I am probably an NWO shill and can't be trusted.
