Just watched the History Channel. According to the History Channel, Newton decoded the Bible's undecodable Revelations.

According to the narrator, some dates have come to pass such as World War 11, return of Jews to Israel, the six day war, expansion of Israel.

Some things have not happened, such as the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple on the site of the Dome of the Rock which would have the Muslims upset.

The date set for getting :rule10 is 2060, so according to Newton, we have plenty of time before we have to pack our cases.

2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar and the alignment of the galactic plain. It's basically a pot luck of end-times dates if you want to think about it...not something you want to do if your really depressed, gets you laughing if your in a silly mood though.

I plan to sleep through 11, too. If it's anything like the 08/08/08 and 09/09/09 ends of the world, TV will be more interesting (and I NEVER watch TV).

2060? Well, swap the zeros and non-zeros and you get 2600. Half of 2600 is 1300. Turn the number around it's 0013. Remove the leading zeros and it's 13. 13 is a very unlucky number. We're all doomed!

On what logical basis can the History Channel entertain programmes concerning future predictions?!

Well, if they can show programs about a history that never happened, it makes sense for them to predict a future that won't either.

I cannot debunk a single word in your post. We are indeed doomed.

Oh ****ing hell! I had everything prepared for 2012!

What am I going to do with all these balloons?

The excuse is they've a historical figure (in this show's case its Newton) featured and offering up a dish of prophecies. 2012's prophecies were offered up by the Maya, who were also historical, so they have an excuse there too...a thin one.:boggled:

Attach a deflated balloon to a length of surgical tubing, have a dinner including cabbage, beans, and turkey, store the end result of said dinner using said surgical tubing to assist in inflating said balloons, and use those balloons for performing as a ventriloquist version of Le Pétomane.

Noting some of the driveways that have not seen paving or touching up for a decade or so, it would seem that nature shares a skeptical point of view about coming to an end...back to discussing mankind.
