Withdraw Brian Souter's Knighthood

The story is as follows:

Brian Souter is the guy behind the ‘Keep the Clause’ from Scotland back in 2000. The Clause was a piece of homophobic trash treating homosexuality like a dirty thing and aimed at keeping people ignorant about this aspect of human sexuality. In other words: The Clause treated gays, lesbians and bisexuals as if they were a disease and thus enabled the dickwads of society in their bigotry.

Now, one should think that supporting something like that would mean that you had lesser chances of obtaining an "honor" such as a Knighthood than a snowball had chances of surviving on a really hot day in hell, but nooooooo.
Apparently "lizzie" have a short memory, because Dickwad number one just got knighted.

True, and got you out of that clause 3 years before the rest of the UK, but that was because of the relative sanity of the Scotish and not the *******ry of this socalled member of the human species.

This isn't a jab, but a serious question.

Does knighthood confer and real advantage beyond the bragging rights of being called Sir?

If so, i would be all about it being rescinded.

If not it should serve to show exactly how useless a title of that nature is today, and how it means little.
