Just heard on the Ed Schultz show that the website of Wisconsin United was taken down by a cyber attack using a distributed denial of service. This temporaily interfered with distribution of the recall petition against Walker. The group has asked the FBI and the WI Attorney General to investigate.

This is not going to look good for Il Duce if it is traced back to any government computer.

And that WI A.G. had better not be caught sitting on his thumbs here. He can be tossed the same way.

That investigation will have to wait.

We have a 9 month backlog of bomb and death threats to work on.
Don't worry. The FBI can let the A.G. in on what they find.

When you have evidence that linksd a known party to a crime, you procede with that. If they have no identifiable suspect in the death threats, it is a matter for the police. The A.G. has real crimes to deal with.

It would actually not surprise me to find that the hackers also faked at least some of the threats, too, to make Il Duce's opponents look bad.

It's all a huge conspiracy. Probably masterminded by the Koch brothers and the New World Order.

There are identified suspects behind the threats.
On the other hand, we have a group who says their website was hacked.
It will probably turn out to be a false flag attack.

Would it be the first time that a republicon sleazoid did something illegal to maintain pwoer?

Yes. Because there is no such thing as a republicon.

I doubt that. Il Duce is anything but a rational person. He's a thug and so are his supporters.

Um, wow , that is a stretch at best, a distributed DoS attack is not likely to be traced to any source... a really really really long stretch

More likely the teanonymous...

Just got the good news on the Norman Goldman radio program.

The anti-Walker organization has turned in 1,000,000 signitures, a ton and a half of paper.

Il Duce is toast.

17.5%

Since Walker got 1,128,941 votes in 2010 it's going to be close no matter how you look at it. Should be fun.;)

Opposition garnered 1,004,303 votes in that election. So if they had convinced 100% of all those who voted the first time to sign it, they might not show as well as the magnitude of the signature effort would suggest.
