My favourite Shatner quote:
"I am not a Starfleet commander, or T.J. Hooker. I don't live on Starship NCC-170...(some audience members say "one"), or own a phaser. And I don't know anybody named Bones, Sulu, or Spock. And no, I've never had green alien sex, though I'm sure it would be quite an evening. ("Pomp And Circumstances" begins playing) I speak English and French, NOT KLINGON! I drink Labatt's, not Romulan ale! And when someone says to me 'Live long and prosper', I seriously mean it when I say, 'Get a life'. My doctor's name is not McCoy, it's Ginsberg. And Tribbles were PUPPETS, not real animals. PUPPETS! And when I speak, I never, ever talk like every. Word. Is. Its. Own. Sentence. I live in California, but I was raised in Montreal. And yes, I've gone where no man has gone before, but I was in Mexico and her father gave me permission! My name is William Shatner, and I am Canadian!"

Anyone see this yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etdw0M8g8oA

Also found this site, but probably many of you already know about it: badpsychics.co.uk

Edit: In this short clip, Shatner tells Edward that he is "woo woo". Good stuff.

You can also watch the whole episode here: http://tvshack.net/tv/Shatner_s_Raw_Nerve/season_2/episode_9/

Haven't seen it yet. Use caution though. Google Chrome says it has malware, but I'm not too worried.

I got the same message from Firefox. I'm not game to test it, as evidently the site is on a list for a reason.

ETA: I think Google is blocking the site. Here's part of their rationale:

Google said:
What happened when Google visited this site?
Of the 4019 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 42 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2010-01-15, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2010-01-14.Malicious software includes 32 trojan(s), 15 scripting exploit(s). Successful infection resulted in an average of 4 new process(es) on the target machine.
Malicious software is hosted on 18 domain(s), including republicdemocracy.cn/, fcaliber65.in/, humpiii1.in/.
16 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including tmlatn.com/, elitetraffic.net/, emusicstorage.com/.
This site was hosted on 1 network(s) including AS34109 (CB3ROB).

This leads me to question the bona fides of the original poster.

ETA: I just checked the first link on this poster's website, ostensibly the Shatner video, but was instead taken to a gambling site.

BEWARE!

This just adds another layer of awesome to a man who already contained so much of it that he was beginning to swell at the seams.

I didn't see the program, but I saw a commercial for it, and I remember in the commercial Shatner was asking Edward about his relationship with his father, now that he has "passed".. and Edward said something about how he was closer to his father now, in death, than he was in life, and how his father learned that he'd made mistakes in life and had grown, in death.

It made me sick, and I felt it was going to be a fluff piece from a friendly interviewer. This little snippet gives me hope. But seeing as how it's done, I suspect it's just a throwaway section from the end of the show. I bet the interview itself is pretty friendly and credible through most of it.

But I'm open to be proven wrong. I'll have to watch it I guess.

I watched the whole thing this afternoon (I had no issues with the site linked, no virus warnings, no being directed to weird places, nothing installed on my system, etc.). Shatner does a really good job handling the interview, actually. He keeps it calm, and cordial, all the while exuding "you're psycho you crazy bastard" in his ultra cool demeanor. His questions, and Edwards' responses to them were very very telling about just how messed up Edwards is. And the way Shatner worked it, he really didn't have to say the stuff about "woo woo" and "is it possible you're psychotic, not psychic" to send those messages to the viewer. It came across loud and clear even without him saying those things.

If you haven't watched it, you might want to. It's an interview style that is extremely effective, and very polished.
