I guess I do mean this literally.

If you look over on this thread, beginning about #142, our JREF friend Oystein has been meticulously documenting the the decline of AE9/11T. And it has been colossal. It's hard to imagine Gage will be able to finance his 70K+ a year salary and trips around the world for much longer. He's gotta face it...9/11 Truth is passé now and there never was much money dealing with the losers that show up at his fund raising events.

So what's next? He's already trying to raise money by appealing to American Muslim extremists. Canadian advocates for a 9/11 Truth are already working for Press TV, the state-run media for the theocratic rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Other Canadian Truthers are siding with the Syrian government against Canadian citizens from persecuted regions in Syria. If Gage were to publicly align himself with the government of Iran, it would hardly be the most extreme statement of his Truthers buddies.

But whether he does this or not, the big question remains - what's Dick going to do when the money runs out? And it certainly will.

When you travel, you present your expenses for travel to the company. Gage's company makes over 400,000 dollars each year. Gage can travel first class, best hotels and present the bills against his organizations 400,000 dollars. Gage pays himself 70k to avoid paying 25 percent of his money in taxes. Anyone understand tax brackets? If he payed himself 110 k, that last 40k would create a tax liability of 10k, 10k unable to be used to pay for that first class ticket, or big hotel room. Why does Gage pay himself so little, so he can spend the money on travel. Guess who pays for the toys in the office? Gage or the organization? Is Gage divorced? Would you want you money to go to your x-wife? Gage is a racket.

Gage has all the money of his organization he can use to travel and spread the delusions to the fringe few who fund his organization; Gage's travel Club.

That's a good point. Unlike the government, Gage can't just go on stealing from his flock indefinitely through taxation and inflation. He actually has to appeal to people and persuade them to believe what he believes. He can't threaten them with prison and guns like the government.

If he is, he's only stealing a tiny fraction of what the U.S. government steals from its flock, yet that doesn't bother any of you here. So, obviously it's not the stealing that bothers you guys.

The original question I posted had to do with what Richard Gage will do after his group AE9/11T runs out of money. I would like answers to this point and encourage others to stick to answering this.

Richard Gage is still relatively young. It is not likely he will be able to practice architecture again. Is he going to continue working on this WTC demolition thing? If he does, he'll have to get hooked up with another source of funding other than the local Truther freaks because they have no more money for him.

He does have another option. He could try and drop out of 9/11 Truth and pick up another freak show...maybe chemtrails or underground cities or UFOs. I don't know what the newest conspiracy theory-type thing could be or if Gage could fit his liberal version of Christianity into it.

Jones is a good comparison. Both he and DRG would have faculty pensions. Jones has gone back to plugging crazy physics ideas and DRG just seems to be fading form the scene. Gage is much younger, has no faculty pension and won't be able to work in construction anymore. What's he going to do to eat?

I always wonder about these others Truther intellectual figures as well. There have been at least 2 engineers, Tony Zamboti and that other guy who claimed he was a Christian navy welder. They are mechanical engineers so it may not be so stigmatizing. But what does an intellectual leader of the 9/11 conspiracy movement do for money? Gage is going to have to answer this one pretty soon.

There are many engineers who, like Szamboti, get lost once they try to look outside text book read the tables standard solutions. I would not guarantee half of the 10-12 engineers I had as subordinates in my last management job to pick the errors in Szamboti's claims. Or in Chandler's nonsense. But they can still do a reasonable job as technical routine job administrators. Applying standard solutions read from the tables in the text book or code of practice.

However, as you say, Gage is a different category. And the chance of a job from a boss who is sympathetic to 9/11 truth is diminishingly small. There ain't that many idiots out there. And proportionally less of them would be in boss's jobs which hire architects or engineers.
