Why didn't the NWO rig the US election?

I've been having fun asking the CTists at another forum this question, and I thought I'd share some of the notably diverse replies.

I had asked during the middle of an earlier thread:

"I'm surprised that no-one's voiced any amazement over the fact that
the NWO can rig elections and get George Bush in TWICE, mastermind and implement a vast 9/11 conspiracy and two extremely unpopular wars, and yet not manage to rig one more election!"

But did not receive any replies except for one - "You don't know why they can't rig elections since 04? I thought just about every one knows by now."

So I asked the same thing in a new thread, and here are some of the mish-mash of replies:

"maybe they did."

"They tried. They will keep trying. They'll never stop trying...The fascists, that is. The NWO isn't a straight path. It's not one group. Fascism is the most dangerous as we all have just witnessed."

"I would assume that after what happened with bush and all the fuss made particularly black box etc. that it was watched a bit more."

"They disbanded in 2007.... In a month or two you may wish they had not. That is a global statement - not a colony specific comment."

"Why didn't they rig the election? Because they run both parties."

Well, of course. Now we know: Bush was really part of the evil conspiracy to get Obama elected "on the rebound" so that the mud races can destroy America with their evil socialism!

(Yes, I know, I know -- the conspiracy theorists cannot figure out if "warmongering neo-cons" or "communist socialists race-mixers" are REALLY in charge. The one thing they know is that whomever it is, they're Jews. I mean reptilians. Er, Illuminati. I mean, ahem, the Pope. Or is it the British royal family? The Masons??? Damn!)
 
If this election is any guide, the most sinister conspiracy of all is that of the lowest common denominator.

Clearly, anyone who has a chance to win is one of "them"- by definition.

I've seen a comment on ATS that the entire election process was rigged to prevent Ron Paul from being elected.

Clearly it was a conspiracy by hundreds of millions of Americans to elect someone else.
 
Yep, they [NWO] didn't have to intervene. As Truthers pointed out
quite some time ago, Obama is a member of the secret foreign policy
NWO apparatus called CFR. ;)
