Why can't whites be as racist as Malcolm X

Why is that blacks can say they are "proud to be black" and they can strive for racial autonomy of their communities, but whites can not?

Racism to me involves abuse of power. People of color don't have the power, but there is an ability for them to be prejudice. If white nationalists were not predatory, they would not be racist then.

A person of color calling me a cracker doesn't hold the same power as me calling someone the n word.

People who are similar on those types of lines congregate. Race is a true issue.

Let me be the first to say that Malcom changed and basically recanted his views in the final year of his life. All the below from his wiki.

In the last months of his life, however, Malcolm X began to reconsider his support of black nationalism after meeting northern African revolutionaries who, to all appearances, were white.

After his [final] Hajj, Malcolm X articulated a view of white people and racism that represented a deep change from the philosophy he had supported as a minister of the Nation of Islam. In a famous letter from Mecca, he wrote that his experiences with white people during his pilgrimage convinced him to "rearrange" his thinking about race and "toss aside some of [his] previous conclusions"

In a 1965 conversation with Gordon Parks, two days before his assassination, Malcolm said:
Listening to leaders like Nasser, Ben Bella, and Nkrumah awakened me to the dangers of racism. I realized racism isn't just a black and white problem. It's brought bloodbaths to about every nation on earth at one time or another.

Who said it was to be racist just because you were black, asian, indigenous American, whatever?

Racism is racism, and should be denounced no matter the person.

Keep in mind, Martin Luther King jr. was immensely more productive than Malcolm "X".

Who said it was ok for blacks to strive for "racial" autonomy?

Btw, race a "real" issue? What is a "real" issue, opposed to a "fake" issue?

I can think of some example of whites who are just as racist as Malcolm X or more so.

Or by "can't" do you simply imply more social disapproval when whites are racist?

I'm talking social disapproval, rather than actual ability to do so (or lack thereof).

The world will always be racist, why can't we as a people face up to this fact?

...snip...

That's a common complaint that comes up about a lot of minority groups that use a "proud to be ...." slogan and it's based on a misunderstanding of how the word is being used - its being used as a response to what society says to them.

Many minority groups are demonised or at the least made out to be less than ideal compared to "the majority" so are being told "You should be ashamed to be X" so adopting the "Proud to be..." slogan is saying "You say I should be ashamed about being X but I'm not going to be ashamed about who I am!"

Although some silly people claim that the majority are the ones being victimised it is not the case, so it would be quite strange for someone who is of "the majority" to say something like "I'm proud to be straight", since society is not telling them to be ashamed of being straight.

which universe are we speaking of here?

Whites have been oppressed by whites, and by non whites. I don't get this idea that oppression and strife is an exclusively "non white" (as if European nations were the only that have conquered and pillaged) phenomenon as some people think, like when people here in the U.S. think poverty is an exclusively "non white" problem.

I see you are ignorant of Malcolm X, educate yourself.

I am still concerned for your health, many people can be raqcists and prejudiced, blacks do not have any privilege that whites do not.

Race is a social more with no real correlate in reality. The variation within a population is usually higher than between them.

The world will always have slavery, the world will always have child abuse, the world will always have rape

why can't people just accept this fact.

Race is an imaginary concept....

So what? There are lots of things society disapproves of. Do what you feel is right.

Your OP lacks context. Malcolm X died in 1965. In 1965 there were plenty of whites who thrived on the public approval of their very overt racism. People ran for governors of states on Segregationist tickets, and won. Some ran for president. Some ran for the U.S. Senate. Strom Thurmond did all of the above, won at everything but the run for president, set records for longevity in Congress, and he's only been gone for less than a decade.

If you can't remember segregated schools, restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, bathrooms, even drinking fountains then you cannot understand the mindset of those times, half a century ago.

Try comparing people from the same era.

You are rather mistaken!

The world has always recognized that racism exists, and there has never been a question about that fact.

However, what to do about the racism is what has vexed the world for quite some time now. In fact, I would say that the question as to what to do about racism question is a problem that has plagued humans ever since humans have come to be the dominate species of the world.
