Kamala Harris will likely take over the race from Biden. But who will be her VP?

Newsom?

Murphy?

Booker?

I suggest she pick a strong Congressman or Senator in a strong Blue state or district.

Mark Kelly

It needs to be a white man imo.

Obama played that game and it seemed to work.

Sadly, I think you're right about a white man. We still haven't advanced enough for some people to be comfortable with two women or even two people of color as P and VP. I think Kelly would be acceptable to most Dems.

What no Hillary Clinton?

I would assume a governor from a swing or red state would be better. Kamala Harris is from one of the bluest states there are, and will already come under fire for the crime and homeless issues there.

My understanding is that Kamala Harris can credibly claim to be tough on crime.

Someone from Michigan, Arizona or Philadelphia, then, would be a good idea.

Mark Kelly is from AZ. But I'd rather see a representative rather than a senator chosen. We can't afford to lose a single Dem senator.

Would Pete Buttigieg be too much?

I love Pete Buttigieg's demeanor and disciplined messaging during debate/discussion. He's the type of guy you need in those moments. He can make a lot of Republicans look bad.

I hope older voters can look past his personal life.

Herself from the future. Think about it: she could give herself prescient advice and make good use of the knowledge of what is to come. And she could be certain that she wouldn't betray herself because whatever happens to the younger one has to happen to the future one. Really the surprising thing is that nobody's done this before. I'd say Harris was a genius for thinking of it but she was simply told the idea by her future self herself, who already knew about it so doesn't get credit.

You have something there:
Obama years: Black president, DEI Hire Biden
Trump: white guys
Biden term: Biden plus DEI hire Harris
Harris term: Harris plus white guy

I'll plug Tom Hanks again. It's not going to happen, I know, but it'd be the easiest election in the history of elections if it did.
