Who killed my baby?

I heard on NPR today that an air strike from an Israeli plane resulted in the deaths of ten members of one family, all civilians, and that one news camera person took footage of a nine month old baby who had been dismembered the blast so horrifically, they chose not to release it at this time. Now, these attacks are in response to unprecedented escalations in attacks by Hezbollah, which has terrorist wings and legitimate government wings in Lebanon, and the Lebanese government has been either unable or unwilling to stop Hezbollah’s attacks as that organization pursues the destruction of Israel. Every person who has been faced with a violent and untimely death in their family asks, "Who killed my loved one?" Can you great sages of the politics forum separate reprisals from repercussions? Imagine that you have to answer the question that baby’s mother must be asking.

Who killed her baby?

Dog and the rectums who are forcing Israel to re-educate the primative. By the by, if those butchering sons of pig lovers were not total cowards (they constantly prove this by HIDING AMONG CIVILIANS), this would not likely have happened!!!

To be fair most armies do this. The number of armies prepared to move their troops to antartica where the nukes won't hit the civilians is limited.

If the terrorists moved out into the middle of the desert away from the cities they might as well put up a sign that says "Bomb here, we'd like to Zionists to wipe out our movement."

I think it is a tactical move, I don't think they are cowards. They don't have the resources that Israel does so they fight dirty to survive.

They are huge jerks though.

Just in the last 48 hours, over 55 civilians have been reported fatalities in Lebanon , and 7 or 8 in gaza (in the home of gaza university lecturer Dr. Nabil al-Salmiah that was destroyed in a massive IAF bombing --- aimed at assassinating Muhammed Deif)

I happen to think that the NPR report you are referring to is detailing the events in the Gaza Strip at Nabil Al-Salmiah's home, and not in Lebanon, but since you didn't link to the report, we'll move along and discuss this topic anyway, and not get bogged down in specifics...

One death is no more or less important than another, ImaginalDisc. You are placing a greater value on the death of a specific individual, which seems odd.

What about 40-year-old Monica Zeidman (an Israeli in Nahariya)? Hezbollah ballistic missiles crashed into her home. What do you tell her mother?

So, you want to know the answer "who killed them?"
(which is really what you are asking, despite the injection of the emotionally-loaded example of the baby)

Here are the key actors in this scenario ---

IAF Commander-in-Chief
Major General Elyezer Shkedy

and

Hezbollah Sheikh Nasrallah
