and a big phony proud of being a troll.
The video is paranoid "corruption of the US temperature record by NOAA and NASA" propaganda. The video description links to a rather insane blog ("The Deplorable Climate Sceince Blog") by a deplorable Tony Heller, e.g. "Your computer/game consoles work, partly due to my efforts. By contrast, climate science doesn’t work, because it is done largely by dishonest, incompetent hacks who don’t follow or even understand any legitimate methodology."
The blog has the usual debunked climate denier myths taken to insane levels.
The global cooling in the 70's myth and he cherry picks news reports and lies about the UN doing climate science!
A lie of NOAA having "very poor coverage of the Earth" with a
land-only graph. A "magic purple and red crayon" delusion.
"61% Fake Data" insanity.
"Accelerating Sea Level Fraud In Climate Science" lie with the insanity of citing a
2016 paper saying that the level rise is accelerating and the
1990 IPCC report saying here was no evidence of acceleration.
"Arctic Sea Ice Unchanged From 60 Years Ago" lie. Old newspaper clippings. A graph that has Arctic Sea ice volume decreasing from 204 to 2017!
"Climate Scientists Rewriting The Past" delusion. Usual insanity of newspaper clippings rather than scientific literature. "The post-1940 cooling ruined the global warming story, so NASA and other climate scientists erased it." paranoia. Global warring happened regardless of the post-1940 cooling where changes in measuring ocean tempoterure were a known cause. A paranoid lie of "“Mikes nature trick” to “hide the decline“ in the proxy data". There are known issues with modern (post 1970's?) proxy data from tree rings and the standard replacement of them with more reliable instrument readings (the "trick"). An insane "and erasure of the Medieval Warm Period and Little Ice Age." lie when they still exist! Basically a list of paranoid lies.
"Corruption Of The US Temperature Record" is Heller's deplorable corruption to make a lie (see below).
"Doubling The Hockey Stick Fraud" is paranoiac stupidity when the
hockey stick graph has been confirmed in the scientific literature. The actual insanity is that the
hockey stick graph "present the global or hemispherical mean temperature record of the past 500 to 2000 years" and he whines about NOAA’s data back to 1880. "data/trends have been erased" insanity.
An abysmally ignorant "Extreme Fraud In The National Climate Assessment" rant. The National Climate Assessment showed the
heat wave] season days[/B increased from the 1960"s. Heller stupidly produces incomparable graphs of "warm spells", heat wave magnitude index, and warmest temperature from 1900.
An ignorant "Extreme Wildfire Fraud In The National Climate Assessment" rant. As his citation Indicator 3.16: Area and percent of forest affected by abiotic agents states "1945 and 2000, fire suppression substantially reduced annual acreage burned. Since 2000, an increase in area burned has occurred, although it has not yet reached the levels recorded between 1925 and 1960". The peak in annual acreage burned is there because fire suppression had not been fully developed. No fire fighting airplanes in 1925 and not many possibly until after 1945

How Steve Goddard aka Tony Heller does bad science
Steve Goddard, or as I like to call him, Dorothy (because Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz is his avatar, and I think he might live in Oz) is one of those science deniers who now and then produces a graphic that shows that global warming isn’t real. He is increasingly being ignored by even the ingenuous, but his latest attempt to deny reality has been slapped down so effectively by scientist and blogger Tamino that thought you should see it.
