Where is the New Investigation?

9-11 truthers have been bitching and moaning about the "new independant investigation" of 9-11 for more then 3 years now. so where is it?

why dont they get some rich hollywood folks together to pay for a new investigation...use their scientists, engineers, architects, etc...and do this investigation already??

oh...i get it. they want the governmant to do the investigation. they dont like the results of the 1st one..so they think uncle sam should hold a new investigation..just to make them happy. and what if investigation 2 comes to the same conclusions as investigation 2?....the truthers will just call it a cover-up..a whitewash...a paid propaganda machine.

the fact is folks, the 9-11 truth movemant DOES NOT want a new investigation. they want the illusion of pushing for one, and not getting one, so that they can perpetually ask "what are they trying to hide???"

if there was a new investigation, the results would be EXACTLY the same as the 1st. 19 hijackers, funded by rich islamic extremists, hijacked 4 planes and hit 3 of their targets. thats what happened...and no amount of conspiracy theory and opportunistic paranoia can change that.

It doesn't matter if there's a new investigation. If it disagrees with their hypothesis they will immediatly claim it is false, no matter who runs said investigation.

And since any thorough, unbiased investigation would agree with the official theory, this is what would happen.

They'd probably say the investigators were bought or threatened as well. Or NWO disinfo agents. Or something.

any investigation that says that 19 arab hijackers took over the planes...and impact + fire + weakened steel brought down the wtc towers....and a plane hit the pentagon...would immediately be written off as an illuminati/freemason/zionist/mossad/nwo/martian cover-up.

and thats why they dont want a new investigation..cause they know the results will be the same as the first.

This question has been brought up before. We still don't have any idea (a) what's wrong with the current investigation, or (b) what features this new investigation would have that the old one lacked.

Anyone who knows, please feel free to answer. It's a serious question -- I have no idea precisely what these people want.

We've heard a few ideas, but they're all inherently silly. For instance:

• It must be independent of the US Government!

What? Do you expect to get somebody who isn't the FBI to re-exhume aircraft debris, or the ruddy Village Voice to take a turn at the FAA control center and see how things work? The Government is involved in this at every stage.

• Well, OK, but it must be independent anyway!

Independent of what? Where do you plan to get an armada of qualified scientists and experts who have absolutely no politics or business ties whatsoever?

• Fine, we'll settle for Bush and Cheney testifying under oath.

You think they orchestrated the murders of thousands, as a prelude to war that killed hundreds of thousands, and have maintained this facade from campaign to press conference for five years... and expect them to talk straight just because they're under oath??

All flippancy aside, if there is something wrong with the current investigation, let's find out what it is, and use that as a starting point for how to conduct a better one. But so far, the only "weakness" seems to be that it didn't give the answer the Troothers wanted. Hardly an objective analysis, if you ask me.
