There have appeared these strange pop-ups on my computer, saying it's a Messenger service at the top of each pop-up. They appeared first some days ago, and the first one said that I had to visit some link(www.messengerservice.info) where I would find tools to remove this Messenger Service. Now, I don't want to install some unknown bogus program on my puter, without being sure what it is about. The next billion of pop-ups appeared every time I clicked OK, and was similar to the usual spam that I get over mail. Instead I uninstalled my Messenger chat program, and the pop-ups didn't appear for some days. I even cleared all my firewall info, so I could start all over, by only granting in- and out-going connections to programs I trust.
Now, there's a freaking pop-up again saying that I have Messenger Service enabled, and gives me the link to find the tools to uninstall it. What's all this crap about? Shall I trust that www.messengerservice.info thing and get the tools, or what shall I do to get rid of those strange pop-ups?
