Don't have a link, but there's a story about a guy who was planning to shoot up the crowds outside the Superbowl. He got as far as mailing his manifesto then driving to within 200 yards. Then he chickened out, mercifully. He had a rifle and 200 rounds.

So be glad we're not talking about dozens of deaths and a cancelled Superbowl.

Yes I read that story too. He actually stopped when he found out Tom Brady was already being killed by the Giants defense.

Such a little twist of fate. Had the WTC not collapsed, it might have not gone very far, perhaps not even Afghanistan.
