There's a thread about what we don't need, but what about what we should have?

I'll start out by saying random dance breaks.

And more laser pointers.

Make sure your vaccinations are up to date, especially for yellow fever.

well oxygen for those of us not used to the smoke at the bar...and eye drops. But hey, I take it as long as I can and then get some air outside.

But I always go back for more!

Air? Is that what that superheated gas outdoors was?

The pool?

I was told the pool was too cold for swimming at the past meeting(s), hope the water temperature will be good this time.

They do chill the pool, but when you consider the air temp is like 43 degrees, it balances out. I quite enjoyed it. You could stand up in the shallow parts, and feel the heat distribution as you got higher!

While I don't have experience with South Point's pool specifically, I have been in other casinos' pools first thing in the morning, and after the initial shock, it's been tolerable to enjoyable.

I'm hoping for a long-enough straight-enough stretch of pool to swim in.

I occurred to me today that it would be a good idea to maybe make a trip to a grocery store (if Vegas even has such a thing) to get some snacks and food for the hotel room so that poor bastards like me can save a bit of money on meals. Having some cereal and cheese and crackers handy would make eating a lot cheaper compared to daily trips to the hotel buffet (and would probably be healthier, too). Not having access to a car makes this difficult, though. Maybe we could organize some sort of group food grab outing with some person who has access to a vehicle who can be bribed to provide transport? Google maps says there's a Trader Joe's five miles away, so that's an idea.
