Let's fess up!

Eos pulling the lever on my first slot experience, after MLynn took all that time to explain the "rules"! I was so nervous my hands were shaking! Then I sat ready to push the button when Eos reached over and pulled the lever (we both thought the lever was just for show!). Actually the look on her face was priceless. She quickly whipped out another dollar and I finally got to try. We both lost a dollar! So I guess we learned a lot

Mind you, MLynn spent $20 and ended up with $85!!!!

I love you MLynn and Eos!:D

kitty, I was so happy to show you the slots - and Eos. It was so funny that she had taken your spin and wasn't trying to :D . I wish we could have spent more time together.

My worst moment was having to say goodbye on Sunday, the consolation prize being having pictures taken with new friends; and now, poor Luciana's pics are all gone, including the one of my tattoo. Bummer.

So, there it is, my worst TAM3 moment ;)

Just think, that will be the look on Randi's face if someobody wins the million!

I will share another moment...when I landed on my tailbone during the pillow fight with rebecca...thunk. Now, I couldn't allow things to end that way! It was a moment when you think the bad guy is dead, only to have him rear up and go for the throat all over again. Now, when did becca cop a feel? No, that's not why I liked the pillow fight so much! Nuh uh! Okay, maybe it should be...

MLynn and Kitty, thank you for those most priceless and memorable moments. I love you guys so much. I nominate MLynn for the "Best Roomate Ever" award. She left the room cleaners a tip and didn't mind my late comings and goings. I think you can tell by the pics what I was up to ;)

My worst moment?

Just now. I now know I missed the best of the pillow fight!

Worst moment:

Having a tickle fight with rebecca, just prior to the pillow fight, and NOT copping a feel. Dammit!! What was I thinking

Well, maybe rebecca got something out of it, I don't know.

What else ...
Saying goodbye on Monday Night. Damn, that was hard.

And last but not least:
Leaving my bag of chocolate in the hospitality suites, only to find out the next day that they had been taken to the conference room and had been distributed there. That was for the skepchicks, more specifically Renata, to make sure she wouldn't scare me any more ... *sigh*

I DIDN'T GET TO HUG HAL!!! :( :( :(
Sigh. And he brought me water that one time. What kind of ingrate am I?

My biggest regret.

It was Sunday night and monday morning for me. And it was damn hard, all right.

And last but not least:
Leaving my bag of chocolate in the hospitality suites, only to find out the next day that they had been taken to the conference room and had been distributed there. That was for the skepchicks, more specifically Renata, to make sure she wouldn't scare me any more ... *sigh*

I distributed my chocolate gifts on Thursday :p

My worst moment was NOT streaking the Skepchicks Pajama party. Oooh well. THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR! Ladies, prepare yourselves.

My worst moment was actually after the conference was over.

I picked up a nasty little bug during the conference (a few other attendees had mentioned that they'd experienced it). On Monday, this nasty little bug threw me for a loop. I spend the whole day in my hotel room oscillating between unbearably high fever and equally unbearable chills. I do not remember many of the details of that day, for I was nearly out of my mind.

For those of you to whom I did not say good-bye: It was nothing personal. But I did not want to give you what I had picked up.

The only one at risk was Kiless, whom I encountered as I checked out on Tuesday. I hope beyond all hope that I did not pass anything nasty on to her.

Without a doubt, it was Friday morning setting up a camera and breaking my ankle for my efforts. Kind of ruined the rest of the weekend for me. Still, I managed to get good footage of all of the speakers. Ah well, at least hotel security took good care of me. Sigh...

I´d hazard a guess that it ruined more than the weekend... :(

Did you get home without further problems? Packing up and checking out sure was a lot of a hassle, and I hope the rest of the trip went more smoothly.
(I´m the guy who helped you back then... I´d offer more help but I´m kind of far away for that... ;))

Hi Chaos,

Thank you for your help. That made things a lot easier for me getting checked out. I really appreciated that.

I was OK once I got to the airport. They wheeled me around in a wheel chair through security all the way to my gate then got me on the plane. It worked out just fine after that.

I will be in this cast for another five weeks or so - and it is beginning to smell a tad rank. My wife was, er, noticing it this morning in bed. At least my dog likes the smell. Sigh...

Oh, we're fine, sweetie - kind of you to think of us! :) You get better, you hear??? :(

No worst moment, but a few regrets:

Regret I didn't talk more to the tall cute blonde woman with us on the Big Shot...she seemed interested in talking to me--or at least she did smile at me (or maybe the low oxygen at that height has fogged my brain).

Regret I hauled my copy of Bad Astronomy all the way from Alabama for the BA to sign and never got around to it.

Regret I made that last $100 bet at blackjack (made the difference in going home ahead or behind--guess which)

Regret we didn't have time for a group to go to the Hoover Dam. Next year for certain!

That was Pam, right? She was more than cute I would say. Let us hope that she joins the forum and comes to the next TAM.

I only regret that there were so many I did not say goodbye to before they left.
