From what i can gather, ACTA (Anti-counterfeiting trade agreement) basically destroys the idea of presumption of innocence, allows for companies to have my private data etc all without a warrant.

I've heard about this for a long time. I'm surprised nobody has raised this issue.

This is obviously extremely dangerous. This treaty will affect the lives of so many people and yet is guarded under such secrecy, Obama going so far as to claim that it must be kept secret on the grounds of national security.

The negotiatons are to be concluded if everything goes according to plan in 2010.
