At least this false prophet, unlike say, Sylvia Browne, has just enough integrity to apologize and take the site down. Though I wish she wouldn't...it'd be better for the mistake to sit out in the public domain.

Think that this person will return the "gifts and donations" she received?

(I could make a prophecy about that one)!

But, it wouldn't get you the million - ya don't need psychic powers to call that one!!!

I loved the tag line she had on her site...

"See you in heaven in 2007".

I wonder if she made any bumper stickers or t-shirts....

I think there is a lesson here but I don't suppose believers will learn it. :(

As I mentioned elsehwere on this forum I tackled a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses on their organization's multiple failed predictions of Armegedon. Their response -- "We were wrong. We don't do that any more".

According to: http://www.bible.ca/Jw-Prophecy.htm they were doing it up to at least 1995.

But just think about it though. If the Rapture were to happen, would it really be all that bad? With all of the fundies whisked away into Heaven, there would be so much less violence, bigotry, or ignorance in the world. Also, all their cool stuff would just be lying around for the taking once they're gone. One could make a fortune selling it all on eBay.

Dibs on Mel Gibson's Nazi memorabilia! :D

Well--she gets a lot of e-mails from other christians expessing their desire to see her burn in hell.

Nice to see a little thing like a failed prophecy isn't going to derail that good ole christian spirit........
