A broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barret
OK, since I seem to have appointed myself the Logistics manager for the TAM4 Forum Activities (hey, if ya want elections, go to Iraq) one day that has not been addressed is the Wednesday before TAM4.
Normally about 1/3 to 1/2 the folks get in this day and many work in the Admin/Hospitality room stuffing packets and helping the JREF get ready for Thursday. But the evening is left open.
So...anybody have any thoughts on what we might do on Wednesday night as a group?
Two thoughts from last year--The Straosphere Tower is right up the road, it's well over 1,000 feet tall and has several, shall we say, nerve-wracking rides. It also has a theme restaurant or two for eating.
Second is the Fremont Street experience--That's downtown Vegas, all lit up and including street performers and a overhead light/laser show that is garish and kitsch and yet pretty neat.
Of course there is the Bellagio Buffet and the Ventian canals and the Effiel Tower and...well, you get the idea.
I need to be at the airport about 9:30pm, but can help with transport before and after.
Any thoughts from other early arrivers...
