Can you believe Saudi Arabia? I was very skeptical of Saudi Arabia's cooperation in the war on terror. The meme used to be "if you want to wipe out terror invade them instead".
Now, I am at work so forgive me for not citing references in this post. However, you can probably easily find this info.
The first clue I had that Saudi Arabia was a better partner than the news pundits would have you believe is when a book came out accusing various Saudi bigwigs of knowlege/participation in the 9-11 attacks. Guess what happened? They're dead.
So what happens recently? Somehow the Saudi's have had a fire lit under their burkas. They are killing and capturing terrorists at an astonishing rate.
I don't have time to cite the different news sources but you can hit news.google.com and decide for yourself.
What do you make of Saudi Arabia's cooperation? Do they want to keep the US off their back in light of the US trying to democratize the mideast?
Is this crackdown an attempt to stifle western influence?
Is Saudi Arabia truly serious about terrorism in light of the attack on their own soil? Did the bombings in Spain motivate them in any way?
