I know that's part of The NarrativeTM but the numbers don't back it up.
I knew I'd get one.![]()
How old is Nadar now? Geez I remember Nadar always screaming about something even when I was a kid. And I am no spring chicken anymore.
Isn't he the guy who invented the seatbelt or something?
Actually Nader got more votes in Florida than the margin between Bush and Gore, so I think that the numbers do back that up. Of course, not all of them would have voted for Gore, but I think enough would have to have made the difference.
And of course if Florida had gone the other way, Gore would have been president.
Fixed.Gore gave Bush the win in 2000. I think he is a usefull idiot for the GOP.
its always been my opinion that both sides steal votes, and do so about equally so it all evens out (i live in chicago, the city so liberal people keep voting democrat long after theyre dead)And there was that whole thing about bush's campaign advisor being in charge of elections and lots of black people getting illegally booted off voter rolls.
A lot of things when wrong in Florida. My favorite is the idea that conflicts of interest do not matter to supreme court justices. Having a wife working for the campaign clearly doesn't create a conflict in anyway.
I never expected myself to say these words, but...And of course if Florida had gone the other way, Gore would have been president.
