Using 9/11 Victims to Rally for Twoof

I take on woo twoofers at another message board and one of 'em just started a thread using Edna Cintron - the woman seen waving for help in the open spot of WTC1 - as a rallying point for the "no planes" idiocy. Essentially, that Edna is "speaking" to us that there was no plane.

Boy that pisses me off.

There's a ladle of Gravy in all of us. And in response, I mentioned our esteemed Mark Roberts and his quest, after seeing that disgusting post on Loose Change about her "flame retardant chinos".

Of course the troofers are just after justice for the victims and their families.

9/11 was a violent, deplorable act, and unfortunately a very large part of the latest generation (14-28y) are numb to violence, and remote to anything so deplorable. As a result, they often cannot empathize with the victims of such an event. To them, the victims, are literally just names without faces, families, or lives...very sad.

Right, TAM. It's where the "voice morphing" to family and friends over air and cell phones spawns from. How somebody like Bermas can deny the existence of the destroyed human beings in Shanksville, and elsewhere. "I disagree with that" is his stock answer. Cold, hard, reptilian. Zero empathy, no connection to any aspect of human tragedy. And he makes a living at it.

I'm pretty sure that if someone were in Edna's shoes at that time they wouldn't be trying to say "There's no plane!" they would be saying "Help!"

I can't find the call anymore, but I heard it a while ago. It is so sad...This is one of the main reasons I cannot stand the "Truth Movement."

I agree with you that Ms. Cintron's last words were not likely "There's no plane" but rather, "Help!" but I think you're mistaken about the telephone call you mentioned. If it is the series of telephone calls that I'm thinking of, they were made by a woman who was trapped on the upper floors with a group of co-workers, but it was not Ms. Cintron. I can't remember her name off the top of my head, if it's the woman I'm thinking of, but I will look it up.
