"Two more homeopathic lagers please..." Very funny...

Brilliant, seen it before but always worth another viewing :D

There was a thread about the video in the link here http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147112

I also added some tags.

I mean how could a hospital cope with people coming in convinced they are missing limbs, suffering serious blood loss, etc yet they can find nothing wrong with the patient? Or worse they are wounded, but the more treatment they give the worse the patients get? I mean a person comes in with a finger missing, so they treat that. Next thing he has lost his hand?

Edit. This is a duplicate thread http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174763.

I was expecting this thread to be about American beer. ah well. :(

Or German beer.

I once offered to make a bet with a homeopath which, if I lost, I would pay off handsomely in homeopathic single malt. I figured that I could easily provide him wiht a lifetime supply, without appreciably impacting my own bottle of 15 yo Laphroaig.

If he lost, he was to pay me off with a non-homeopathically treated bottle of same.

Couldn't get him to take the bet, though. ;)

wait, if they're diluting an explosive, that's not making a more powerful bomb, that's making an extremely powerful ANTI-BOMB.

I'm not sure if they scares me or makes me even more apathetic.

forgot about that aspect of homeopathy.

Which means, I think I found one homeopathic remedy that my actually pass clinical studies (if it hasn't already technically). Homeoathic hangover remedy. Alcohol dilluted in lots and lots of water :D

Well no, not even. Remember that it's the SYMPTOMS, not the actual cause, that you need to reverse.

Hangover causing you a headache? Then you need a severely diluted hammer to the skull.

Hangover causing you to become dizzy? Then you need a severely diluted merry go round.

Think people, THINK!

I was going to make a joke about all the really hazardous things that one could make a remedy out of, but then realized that the homeopaths have already made lots of money off of such things- arsenic and belladona are favourite homeopathic potions. Some websites offer homeopathic solutions of radiation and antimatter.

I'm sure there's some homeopath out there who starts a batch of trauma remedy by shooting a gallon of water with a shotgun, then diluting that water down to nothing.

Doesn't matter what you start with. Dilute it in enough water and drink enough of the homeopathic dilution and you will have a good cure for your hangover.

Water...combined with time and stillness and an couple of asprin and a dark room is an excellent cure for a hang-over.
