Trying to remember a Sci-Fi Short story...

...I read a long time ago. The title and author escape me.

It was about this guy that had a robot, and every time the robot got overheated it would go all twitchy and kill someone. He had to keep moving from colony to colony because of it.

I don't think it was Asimov, but not at all sure. Ring any bells?
