Truthers produce deceptive look-alike brochure for 9/11 Memorial Museum opening

These real-life activities are going to get some of them assaulted. They should stick to the internet.

Bait and switch, huh? Nice.

How long before Dick is playing three card monte to get people to donate?

Truthers being deceptive, dishonorable, and unempathetic is such a departure from their normally upstanding behavior... Oh... Sorry, forgotten about whom I was talking about.

It looks like they are content going for a light version of the Westboro Baptist approach by now, using cheap publicity stunts to whore for any kind of attention. They are already proudly linking to every article that picked this up on their FB page, telling the minions to do those trademark floodings of comments sections with outraged truther comments and the usual symmetrical at free fall speed into its own footprint etc. catchphrases that everyone has heard a gazillion times already. Always fascinating how truthers seem to think that public displays of group fanatism will make it all look so much better for them.

^^ What he said.

I guess chanting "911 was an inside job" while passing out their garbage is going to get
them a lot of attention.....

No doubt if start harassing people at memorial or at the museum the NYPD have a nice
place for them on Rikers Island

I'd rather EMS find a nice bed for them in an ER.

I'm going to disagree with you all. Imitating or parodying your opponents' hand-outs is a fair and time-honored political maneuver, and it even shows a glimmer of creativity, the first from the Truth Movement in years.

Good one, Truthers. Now, about that 'evidence for a plausible alternative narrative' thing...

Creative yes, garners publicity indeed... but reputation wise theyve joined westborough baptist church on my list of most dispicable groups thanks to it. But reality is for them any publicity is good publicity... so go figure

I see where you're coming from, but I still feel differently myself. For me, victims -> memorial -> memorial museum -> literature of the memorial museum is too many removes to see their look-alike flyer as dishonoring the victims. (Of course, some Truthers have dishonored the victims directly in other ways, but not all of them and not in the case at hand.)

I think Penn & Teller had it right on the 9/11 truther episode of ************. If you see a 9/11 truther, push them down the stairs.

Simple, elegant.

Dont get me wrong, in this case given the other moral issues surrounding the actual memorial and how that in itself is representing things the truther element is perhaps not the main thing, but they certainly compound it.

Gage plagiarized 911 truth claims, now a plagiarized brochure to fool people. More fraud from Richard Gage. Richard Gage spreads idiotic lies; what a great American, proud to spread proof of massive ignorance, or his failed followers massive ignorance.

Richard Gage presents idiotic claims, Richard Gage's mindless followers acting like trained parrots repeat the claims, or did they only sign a petition by mistake. Richard Gage makes 500k/yr while his followers are stuck with spreading delusional lies, or signing a worthless petition. The idiot business pays 500k/yr, is the market saturated.

Richard Gage's travel club for one, funded by nuts.

Richard Gage and his buddies. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/...ollowersakadoltswhocantthinkforthemselves.jpg
Are they as dumb as Richard Gage's supporters?

Do the NYC police know the opening is going include fraudulent handouts, from a group which has the NYC police as part of the inside job?

Just finished reading the Ventura/Woods thread on the FB page ReThink911. A lot of detailed comments by someone calling himself Alan Haire. Can someone rectify to whom he is?

Since I live and breathe NYC every day of my life. I am planning a trip to The 911 Memorial Museum. If one of those A&E Truthers approaches me with one of those whacky brochures, I guarantee you I will tell them to, "get the....out of here" and throw it right back in their face. This is one New Yorker that bites!

I was at the memorial and the preview museum last Saturday and not a truther twat in sight. :)

Hopefully the park authorities won't allow them to pester people like they used to the last time I was there in 2010.

Actually I was hoping I saw one and if they tried to speak with me I would have been very unfriendly and probably used unasterisked words.

I loved NYC this time, especially Central Park in the sunshine.:)
