First there was the "Greatest number of people at an inauguration" and now he is resorting to the alternative fact that "No administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days."

With just 28 bills signed, half of which are repeals of Obama legislation and most of the rest being “minor or housekeeping bills” the Trump Administration has in fact got no major Legislation through. There only one attempt has failed three times to make it to the vote. His Tax plan in is tatters and he's having to piggy back his wall on GWB's legislation. On top of that he has more vacant positions without nominees that just about any previous administration at this stage.

He has issued 24 executive orders, 22 presidential memorandums and 20 proclamations. Though this is not the most of any President, it is more that recent ones, you know the ones that Conservative were all over about their "abuse and expansion of Executive Powers" with excessive issuing of executive orders, memorandums, and proclamations.

By any measure the DJT Whitehouse does not measure above previous Administrations, but according to experts they are slow and well behind where they should be.

Even by his own scale, DJT has failed to take any action on over half of the 60 promised issues he said he would address in his first 100 days, and in fact has renegaded on 5 of them already. Of the 60, he has managed to keep just 5!

WP Fact check Rating to his statement....

Four out of Four Pinocchio

Cue the Trump apologists to explain how he really has the best Administration ever in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....

Wrong.

It's the democrats' fault

There is an excellent chance of a government shutdown on his 100th day. I doubt that Democrats want this to happen, but if he forces the issue by demanding that funding for his stupid wall be in the spending bill, they won't lose any sleep over it. Trump will try to blame them but his party has both chambers and most people are against the wall. Plus Trump promised us that Mexico would pay for it.

He really isn't good at this. Who would have thunk.

Yes, it is now quite well established that Trump is an incompetent authoritarian demagogue whose only real skill is yelling orders in an intimidating manner. Then he takes credit for anything that happens to go right and blames someone else for everything that goes wrong. That's his secret. He feeds off other peoples' work like a vampire.

It was also a foregone conclusion that he would lie about his "first 100 days" accomplishments. But he's not bragging that much. At first he was bragging that his first 100 would be totally awesome. Now he's saying 100 days doesn't mean much.

I'm reading the guy like a cheap paperback novel. So predictable.

He really is pretty easy to read. Fact checking has shown that there is roughly a 70% chance that whatever he happens to be saying at a given time is false. So just assume whatever he says is false and you're right 70% of the time.

That may have been Kim's thinking when Trump claimed a "naval armada" was headed for the Sea of Japan. Kim was so impressed he tried to launch a missile, but only farted. Only a genius like Kim could have figured out there was at least a 70% chance Trump was bluffing. (sarcasm)

Aren't these world leaders we've got awesome? (sarcasm)

Seriously. Look at the two foghats who now have the authority to launch the world's two biggest nuclear arsenals.

Are humans great at picking leaders, or what? (sarcasm) I think we need to work on that.

One of so many reasons I keep reminding people I did not vote for that ******* sucking POS!!!!!

This is the man who believes business success is multiple bankruptcies, cheating his contractors, settling lawsuits, and ending up selling his own name rather than actually run the businesses that bear it.

If his legs were chopped off he'd announce it as a huge personal success in weight loss.

They would love for it to happen. At this point the best Democratic strategy is to take a page from the GOP playbook and crap the bed as hard and as often as they can, then ride the rebound in the midterms until they have enough of a majority to get things done unilaterally.

Trump thinks it's been a wonderful 100 days start for two reasons:

1) He has exactly zero knowledge of the details of previous administrations including Obama's. Learning such "knowledge" is beneath him - he has people do that sort of thing for him. So he has nothing to compare with, thus his first 100 days are the first EVER 100 days of a president of the USA. Ever.

2) He is deliberately isolated from reality, both through his own dementia and through his minders. He barely remembers this morning, he gets his "facts" from Fox and Hannity, and his minders keep telling him only the stuff they think he needs to know. So he is off in his own little fantasyland most of the time, being fed unicorns and rainbows of success to "keep him happy". Hence, also, the ****-eating grin most of the time.

What I mean is that they are not going to go out of their way to force a shutdown just to hurt Trump because they actually care about the government being functional. The Democrats will vote for the bill if they find it reasonable. They don't find it reasonable to include funds for the wall in the bill. Most Americans don't want it and Trump swore Mexico would pay.

If Trump fails to see he lacks leverage here and a shutdown happens on his 100th day, Democrats will be happy to point out that he's a terrible negotiator and has no idea what he's doing.

This morning it's reported he's realized government is harder than business. A surprise to no one but him, of course. Nobody knew it could be so complicated....

You just need to use the right metric, if you measure it by rounds of golf played he is #1 by a huge margin.

Let's take a look where Trump spends most of his time when he's playing golf.

No, I can go with not compromising, but obstruction for its own sake is not the answer. This is a chance for the Dems to actually show up with some policies and have its newer stars show some leadership. Show the American people where the grown ups in the room are. The American people side with them on most issues, they just let the GOP run on personalities and emotions.

The Party of Koch never had any interest in governing. They have always been about obstruction. Now that they have all the power, we all see them for the impotent old fools they are. The Dems simply have to show up with a plan.

FTFY, I had to re-read, Ed Koch was the first thing that came to mind.

Have we forgotten the idiocy thing called BDS - Bush Derangement Syndrome (right wingnuts name for those hating Bush for his stupidity and treachery re: Middle East and deaths of many Americans actually sent there to help certain large corporations. Followed by the obvious but completely unreality based Obama Derangement Syndrome with all the idiot claims about Obama and all the planning to make him a one term president (ODS). Followed by equally ignorant HDS, And now with at least as much correctness as that re: Bush (a real load of same) called TDS!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I see.

So because Trump is demonstrably incompetent and a pathological liar, those who criticize him are deranged? Okay, I'm just getting the hang of this 'words have any meaning that is convenient' phase. English is hard enough, but now it's becoming impossible.
