I'm very glad to see someone else who adheres to ISO 8601. Although I prefer to use the extended format (YYYY-MM-DD), rather than the basic format (YYYYMMDD).

I get so tired of trying to figure out dates on websites, and determining whether they use the American month-day convention, or the European day-month convention. Which is made worse by the absurd habit of writing the year with just two digits. Why doesn't everyone just use ISO 8601? It's so obviously right.

Come on, there's a couple of minuses right there in the equation: 2-26-2012, so we must obviously subtract from fifteen twice, to get thirteen.

If we right-associate, we have 2 - (26 - 2012) = 1988, and the digits of 1988 add to 26, which is twice 13, so there's two thirteens there -- doubly portentious!

If we left associate, we get (2 - 26) - 2012 = -2036, as you say. These digits add up to 11, which is startlingly important in this context. Also, the average of the sum of the digits of (2 - 26) - 2012 and 2 + 26 + 2012 is 13.

The difference between 2/26/2012 and 12/21/2012 (Mayan end of time) is nine months and 26 days. Not only do we have twice thirteen appearing again, but nine is 3 * 3, so there's the sinister 33rd degree appearing as well.

With so many appearances of portentious numbers, who could doubt that this is a Masonic conspiracy? (Never mind the calculations that I didn't mention in this post. It's the hits that matter. Duh.)
