The latest drafts provided by WikiLeaks includes measures designed to prevent the spread of virtual currencies such as BitCoin...

But the real news is that the First Annual ISF Secret Santa is now open for sign up until this Friday, November 28.

If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal the Obama administration is hoping to pass, you’ve got to be a member of Congress, and you’ve got to go to classified briefings and leave your staff and cellphone at the door.

If you’re a member who wants to read the text, you’ve got to go to a room in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center and be handed it one section at a time, watched over as you read, and forced to hand over any notes you make before leaving.

And no matter what, you can’t discuss the details of what you’ve read.

“It’s like being in kindergarten,” said Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), who’s become the leader of the opposition to President Barack Obama’s trade agenda. “You give back the toys at the end.”

You do realize there are eleven other countries involved in the TPP negotiations, right? Some of them are even democracies like the United States...

What is this, Christmas in July?

*shakes tiny fist*

What's the rush? July is scheduled to open soon enough.

If TPP has relatives in the WTO, the members begin resembling one big 'democracy'. Global corporate rules may trump law at home

Currently, retailers, including supermarkets and grocery stores, are required to provide Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) for beef, pork, and chicken products sold within the United States.

Last month, the WTO’s Appellate Body ruled against U.S. COOL requirements for meat, arguing that the requirements in the existing law are inconsistent with WTO obligations.

In the wake of WTO’s announcement, USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack pressed Congress to modify or repeal the COOL.

The WTO (globalist corpgov COWG) doesn’t want Country of Origin Labels. (COOL). That’s because they can feed livestock different things than we allow in the USA.

That's great for the multinationals.

None of that answers my point about the conspiratorial nature of your initial claim. If you can point (with evidence) to the U.S. government not being as forthright on the TPP as you think it ought to be, fine, but there are other countries involved which are open democracies and which do not necessarily operate by the same legislative rules as does the United States.

It is not automatically a case of, 'As the U.S. goes, so goes everyone else.'

I've no doubt you've misinterpreted something, as there are country of origin labels (and legislation) in the EU, and various member states, that is under no such threat.
