Apparently, the Trading Standard Authority in the UK can't shut this guy down, even though he asked his patient to slaughter 3 cows and tried to get £1000 out of her to get her partner back.

He even told her the "magic" wouldn't work unless she helped get him a council house.

"Miss Mannion's MP Fabian Hamilton (Lab, Leeds North East) vowed to raise the issue of so-called "spiritual healers" in Parliament.
He will also check his immigration status and whether he receives any benefits or pays tax.
He said: "This is witch doctoring and I will be asking how people like this can set themselves up and exploit people in this way.""

Let's hope that something comes from the investigation and hopefully, some sort of legislation against this sort of thing.

I'm going to write to my MP and ask about getting some sort of legislation for faith healers (there are a lot of them in London).

I cannot comprehend how this country is turning a blind eye to these sort of practices. There are so many people doing it now, I think it is an excellent idea that this issue is raised in Parliament, as not only would it put a stop to all of the lunatics out there (there must be hundreds doing this) but I wonder how many would also be convicted of tax evasion? Perhaps a petition should be started and sent to parliament?

Keep up the good work.
