Officials said children aged 5, 8 and 11 died in the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School on Thursday. A teacher was also killed.

It looks like that's the case this time. Whoever they are, they're a hero. This could have gone far worse had they not gone in and engaged the shooter directly.

I guess we end up weighing some rando wandering around a school with a gun (who in this instance had his head on strsight) versus a young kid who got a hold of a gun and got it inside a school (who did not have his head on straight).

So which would we rather have- lots of guns all over the place so everyone can shoot everyone else, or not have so many damned guns everywhere in the first place? It's like one of those Riddle of the Sphinx thingys.
 
It's not ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ difficult.
