The central premise of Loose Change is that the United States Government was, at the very least, criminally negligent in allowing the attacks of September 11th, 2001 to occur.

However, when one looks deeper into the evidence, one might come to the startling conclusion that our own government might have been directly responsible for the attacks themselves.

Loose Change merely scratches the surface of information that points to a massive government cover-up regarding 9/11. We highly encourage you to take it upon yourself to research the events of 9/11 for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

Translation: We've just stated that we think the US government was criminally negligent over 9/11, and that's going to piss off alot of hardcore 'truthers' who believe a in a strong MIHOP, so we'll add this proviso, but still cover our arses by not providing any specifics.

Why only scratch the surface? If you know there is alot more information available to prove a cover-up why not state it instead of presenting the nonsense about global hawks and northwoods?

Fascinating. The stepping away from strongly "MIHOP" is the only way LC FC can feasibly happen. If they'd still asserted the more outlandish, yet endlessly-debunked nonsense from versions 1 & 2 in the Final Cut, the sceptical and scientific blogosphere would be lined up waiting for them. Then there is also the questions of libel, since versions 1 and 2 have asserted that various people were involved in a 'false flag' mass-murder operation. If Avery has had good legal advice then he'd cut all that out. Then of course he'd need to clear copyright issues which may reduce profit margins.

I'm fascinated to see what form the final release will take. I suspect something vague like Press for Truth, which asks questions, many of which have already been answered, along with some hints of government involvement. In any case I suspect the foaming-at-the-mouth tinfoilers won't be happy and may accuse Avery of being a "disinfo agent" or something. If the LCFC turns out like the snore-fest that is Press for Truth then I suspect that the effort to proselytise to the unconvinced will not work out.

Alternatively if the Final Cut stays close to its predecessors in content, then expect litigation, ridicule and the end to what remains of Charlie Sheen's career.
 
One would think you would grow a grassroots organism from a culture. Growing it from a cult seems a bit unethical.

pardon my ignorance, I must have been away on assignment... but will someone please explain to me the 3" rebar on 4' centers reference?

ChristopherA, in his "Does anyone have a realice explanation for the free fall of the towers" thread, claimed that the towers had a concrete floor with 3" rebar on 4' centers.

Rebar does not come in 3" sizes, would never be used on 4' centres, and the picture ChristopherA repeatedly presented had insufficient resolution to resolve something that small (I think we worked out the image had a resolution of about 18" to the pixel or something).

Despite this ChristopherA would repeat the 3" rebar on 4' centers mantra literally hundreds of times.
