Does someone with more knowledge than me (that's, um, pretty much anyone... 'cept maybe TruthSeeker90210) want to take a crack at correcting this Wikipedia article on Thermate?

On 9/11 Thermate was used on the World Trade Center Towers in NY to demolish and melt the iron frame therefore causing a 10 second frictionless freefall. -See this video to wake up a better understanding of this scientific fact: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4258946892514662399&q=9%2F11+American+Scholars

I've already done it.

I'm not a menber, I just clicked 'edit' and deleted it.

Evil j000w!! :p

But thanks, I was in the progress of going over there and do some 'debunking'.

You guys are quick. If I had realized it was that easy, I would have done it myself. Gotta learn about Wikipedia, I guess.

How long does it take until Wikipedia shows the change? I just checked and it's still there.

It should be instantaneous.

ETA: maybe the page is cached in your webbrowser?

refresh. there is no mention of it anymore.
the author who added it also edited the thermite entry as well, and subsequently, it too got erased.

I'll take your word for it. My @&$% government computer still displays the original content with the 9/11 reference. No doubt an attempt to coverup 9/11... by... um... blatantly displaying incriminating information on my computer...

Well, it makes more sense than most CTist theories.

What did you expect when you state your location as "Around here... somewhere" How does the guy that updates the internet is supposed to find your computer and update it with the new version?

That depends on server load but normaly no more than a few seconds. ctrl-F5 can be useful sometimes.

I just clicked Bradk3's link and the 9-11 reference is there as of the timestamp on this post.

Its not there. I was the one who removed it today. Look under history.
ScottS in red that's me. There are only two edits for the day.
One person re-added the quote today named "Cesrage". I removed it.

Wierd... (and I don't mean that in an "OMGCONSPIRACY" sense).

It came up with the 9-11 tinfoiler version when I clicked it. It's clean now though.

Thermite - and no it wasn't - and I have no interest in correcting something that can be added to by congenital idiots.:)

I got rid of 9/11 from the "pyroclastic flow" section last night as 'unsourced and fiercely contentious'.
