This was a 10 minute search; I won't personally vouch for or endorse any of these groups, though many of them I've heard of and they do good work. I personally choose to support the Red Cross. However, for every post above I bet there are 20 more I could post with another 30 minutes of looking, and probably hundreds more doing things without a website, like the churches in my small town in East Tennessee.
