The Professors EVP superbowl prediciton!

The final score was 27 - 23. That's a win by 4 points, right? "The Steelers will beat the cardinals by 4" is what he says on the YouTube video he links to.

I don't follow sports so I don't know if this was a common prediction, but his YouTube video got me thinking. It is possible to have multiple YouTube accounts from the same email address. An industrious magician could upload several predictions in the days before any scheduled sporting event, each with a different username. After the outcome was known, he could delete all the rest of the accounts and videos and post a link to the correct one proclaiming his amazing prediction abilities.

On the other side of the coin, if the spirits that The Professor can hear speaking to him at the Devil's Chair can really predict future sports scores, this seems like it would have been an excellent claim for the MDC. Of course, if he could really find out the final scores of games, he could make a lot more than a million by betting on the games.

Yeah, but I've seen people win in Vegas, too. In the end, though, the house still came out ahead.

Sounds like a variation on this classic prediction scam:

So what will the Prof do with all the money he won betting in Vegas?

Why wouldn't the spirits/entities just give the actual score?! He never went to the Devil's chair anyway,he talks such rubbish!

Would a bookmaker allow that as a bet "Win by four points" ?

Anybody know what bookies were putting the spread at before the game?

And Azrael, has anyone over there mentioned getting a letter from The Professor? That would kind of point towards the prediction scam Sideroxylon linked to.

When he can predict a score on an open forum I might take notice, otheriwse it's the usual post prediction magic tricks.

Well, at least TP no longer needs to worry about the MDC, since I would assume that he put every cent he had on the spread, and made a fortune betting on his known winner. Congratulations TP, you can now afford to buy a website and praise yourself even more..

Going by the OP's link, a few people seem to have received letters but it looks like these only included a web address for the result, which fits with Pogo’s explanation.

If he had several videos predicting different results it would not take him long to remove without trace the wrong ones.

I predict that yairhol will in 25 minutes ask
how come we haven't heard from him yet praising his success
The answer is that he knows we will see it as a trick. But the people at the magic cafe will believe almost anything.

Edit. How is that? I can make specific predictions that come right!!!?

What I don't understand is how come we haven't heard from him yet praising his success.

He may realize that saying he can hear spirit voices who can predict the future is a testable claim. If he comes here talking about it, it will raise the embarrassing question he can't answer; why not use this claim for the MDC?

Not that embarrassment and humiliation has ever stopped him before.

That was his claim and Jeff Wagg kicked him out.
(Wagg has truth issues I think).

Man I think this is or could be a deluxe legal issue.

Personaly I think the JREF is and was doing everything they could to keep the money.

Yep they get to have it now!!!!!!!!!!!

I see a million reason not to test or find any truth.

How easy to see the con in this deal in my opinion.

I can see a few million reasons why the JREF would want to find someone with paranormal powers imagine the publicity and fame for them.

But well for a magic trick this was good but I doubt we will be seeing David use this to win a million of the JREF especially as if it was a real power imagine the money you can make not only can you talk to the dead but the dead can see into the future. That and we at the forum would ask for the evidence that he must already have recorded.

The person I see using this for his attacks on the JREF is Jim so here you go Jim I'll give you some attention.
