Hmmm out of range , but this reminds me of Walter Matheau in the 60's movie Failsafe. When asked his opinion of survival in a nuclear war he said,:" Criminials and file clerks, because criminals are behind walls of steel reinforced concrete and file clerks because thier behind tons of paper an equal thermal and radioactivity barrier", He then ponders the war between the two groups ..."Who would win , I wonder?" (good movie BTW, I think Matheau was supposed to be Edward Teller).
In this case , I think the survivors would be the survival types ( and those who normally live off the land ) and the technically savvy, all those idiots that see MIB and helicopters everywhere and good old farmers in one group and people like electricians, engineers ( water, power ) and auto mechanics in the other .
Who would prosper I wonder?
