The Observer drops astrology column

The (UK) Observer is still somewhat hysterical compared to its daily sister the Guardian, but at least in their latest cost-cutting reorganisation they've dropped their embarrassing astrology column.

The weekly horoscope I have contributed to The Observer Magazine for several years has now come to an end. I’m considering writing some kind of astrological forecast on this site, but I’m undecided what form that might take. Watch this space for more information.

I might even buy a paper copy next Sunday to reward them.

It would be good if they did more in schools to make people think more critically about astrology. There are websites with suggestions for activities. IIRC, these have some:
