I wonder what he had to say.
The study, to be published today in the Archives of Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation, found that those who wore magnets received a much
greater benefit than those who wore a sham foot insole. By one measure,
71 percent of patients with the most severe foot problems who wore the
magnets for four months had a significant reduction in numbness and
tingling, compared with 40 percent of patients who wore the placebo.
Perhaps he went shopping? Who knows.

But I guess I never know.

I've often wondered- when I erase a word from a word processor document.....
...Where does it go?

Hmm. It appears this study was not very well controlled. It certainly wasn't as double-blind as its reported to be:

Montopoli, who accidentally found out during the study that he had the real magnets when the two insoles stuck together, said the tingling feeling diminished to the point at which it was tolerable.
