This time, the pan it was cooked in is up for sale...

...and at the time of this posting, the bid price was $6100...

What was that line...oh yeah...

Wow....did she spend all the money from the holy sammich already???


And I have a hard enough time remembering what I cooked last nights dinner in, never mind something I cooked 10 years ago.
 
So it wasn't a toasted cheese sandwich it was a fried cheese sandwich.

That photo seems to confirm it. There's a woman who probably owns a fair few frying pans.

And probably not so many vegetable steamers.

Call me mean, but when she saw the face of the Virgin Mary in her steaming hot, freshly fried cheese sandwich... well I bet that was a dilemma to behold.

I've never heard of a cheese sandwich being cooked in anything other than a pan. You put a little butter in the pan, then some cheese, then another piece of bread, then turn it midway to brown the other side.

I always use a toasted sandwich maker. I would never have thought to fry it.

CurtC is correct, Ashles, and you are way out of line suggesting that cheese sandwiches be anything other than fried.

Though of course in true Ami style, we call them "grilled."

So when she runs out of money again after selling the pan, what is she going to sell next?

The spatula? The stove?
