The Georgia Criminal Case Against Trump

You have to wonder what is in her proffer. Unlike the bail bondsman, this appears to be a substantial crack in the case. Her sentence is ridiculously light. She had better bring the goods.

Trump is soon to find out just what the consequences are for throwing allies under the bus, or at a minimum ignoring their requests for help.

my guess: the prosecutor doesn't want to go to trial now. Powell and Chessbro pleading out now would be much for going after Trump later.

A couple of dominoes have fallen. Let's hope it continues and the momentum is enough to topple the big one at the end of the line.

I'm not sure about that. She had Powell dead to rights. And Powell knew it. But the truth of the matter was that Powell is small potatoes. She made a recording owning up to her crimes. She agreed to testify against all of her co-defendants. As well as turn over documents.

Now, I do believe that Fani Willis would prefer to try multiple defendants right now instead of just Powell and Chesebro but Georgia law forces her hand.

The Kraken done cracked.

Well, ...

Sidney said she was going to "Release the Kraken" and yet when said Kraken was released, then it wisely and justly took a big bite from her stupid, idiotic, lying body.

Hopefully, the Kraken will likewise take some similar sized bites out of several more Trump lackeys before this is all done.

He hasn't in the last 80 years, I don't why he would no[w].

Because now he's under 91 criminal indictments. Has that ever happened before?

He's being exposed daily in a very public way of being a total economic fraud. In the past maybe that was true for small groups of people, but this differs because the whole world is watching.

I know it's not up to Judgte McAfee. It's up to the TX State Bar Assoc. who tried to bring a disciplinary action against her for ethics violations which could have resulted in disbarment but a judge threw it out.

But now she's guilty of multiple felonies. It will be hard for any state judge, even a Trump loyalist, to overlook that.

No, she's not. The plea deal excluded any felonies according to W.D.Clinger's post.

Because of some sloppy work by the Bar Association, which was surprising. I suspect, given recent developments with the Kraken, there might be another shot at this fairly soon.
