In this interview by Bill Maher, Jeff Sharlett discusses an illegal lobbying organization called The Family, a Christian fundamentalist organization which apparently controls many members of the US government.

I'm not certain how much stock to put into this, but it's rather scary.

The whole thing smells very Skull-and-Bonesy to me; a CT with just enough of a veneer of truth to seem credible.

Maybe it's just me, but it sets my spidey-sense a-tingling.

Funny, I also think of this Family as a Christian sex group, considering members John Ensign and Mark Sanford and the role of their fellow cultists in managing their extra-marital affairs.

Was the Senator from Wide Stance ever a member?

It exists, but I don't think its more than a prayer and bible study group. Hillary did hang out with them according to NPR.
