A few weeks ago at the LC Forum, I got suspended for trying to clear up their misconceptions about chemtrails. Seems Johnny Doughboy considered it "debating."

That was my exact reaction when I first heard of the contrail chemtrail nutters. Complete disbelief that people could be so stupid as to believe in such things. UFO and Bigfoot hunters are infinitely more grounded in reality than the chemtrail crowd!
 
Why don't they get JohnDoe to rent an airplane and go up there to take some samples?

Has this ever been done?

maybe because there was more prop-planes or there was just less air traffic.

or you could go with the more fun answer:
You don't remember the chemtrails, because the chemtrails from last year wiped your memory of them. These chemtrails are now planting conspricy theories into your head to distract you from the real issue:
The league of reverse vampires and saucer people!

I almost never see any contrails or chemtrails around here. Plenty of planes, very few trails. I guess I live in the town the NWO forgot.

Well i gave it a try, looked out of the window and guess what i see right now? Some crazy chemtrail pilot wrote something in the air...hard to read...wu...wuua........wake up, schmuck! :D

On another board I've suggested they do this. I get nothing but links to wackjob sites where they claim to have done this (but reading the sites shows it wasn't done) or silly excuses how they can't because the labs are all in on the conspiracy.

I remember reading several years ago that one of them had an air filter in their house analyzed and claimed the results were proof of chemtrails. I guess that's as close as they've gotten.

Really though, it probably wouldn't take much more than half an hour to get it done and solve the mystery once and for all! I guess talking about it on a message board is more important than actually doing it. Seems to be a recurring theme with these people.
 
1. I doubt any aircraft company is going to let JDX take anything up in the sky. I suspect he has been ordered not to, and hence the reason he is able to spend so much time and energy into the TWOOF.

2. Chemtrails are the silliest CT I have ever heard. Here is my beef. There is good evidence that the amount of EM radiation one recieves from spending time infront of the computer is more than anyone would get from highwires, etc..., yet the CTists go bonkers over "cancer" caused by living under powerlines. If you ask me, the computer geek CT nuts should get off their asses and protest the Monitor companies, or Bill Gates for creating such a machine that would consume most of our lives, and expose us to EMR for many hours of the day.

ah yes, but you see there in lies the problem. If they were to perform such tests, their theories would be destroyed. That is exactly what the CTers wont do, but will complain that it isnt being done by others.

It never ceases to amaze me that these nuts can't figure out that long-lasting contrails almost always occur when there are also high altitude cirrus clouds (as his pics show). The same atmospheric conditions that cause the cirrus clouds also allow the contrails to linger for hours.
When there are no clouds in the sky, the contrails tend to be very short-lived. CTists apparantly can't add 2+2.

Just this evening about 90% of the sky was free of clouds, and the contrails from the jets in that area were very short. But off in the distance to the west there was a line of cirrus clouds, and the contrails in that area were very long. Just goes to show how the conditions can change in a fairly short distance.

I first heard about this CT a couple of months ago, when a friend of mine, who is a pilot, told about it. I couldn't believe people being that stupid. Offcourse I was wrong.
