Hey Seattle people!

Get a tiny little preview of what it's like to be at the Amazing Meeting when Phil Plait pays a visit to our lovely city on January 7th! Watch him bend spoons, do incredible card tricks and deliver monologues about growing up in Spokane! Oh wait... Plait's the one who talks about the moon and stuff, right? Well, I'm sure the chicken dinner will still be worthwhile.

Want to go? Sure you do. Details can be found on this page.

see ya!

Hey BA- I'll be there too!

Will you be doing the AAPT meeting as well?

Cosmic, I'm attending the AAS, which is why I'll be in Seattle. I'm not a member of the AAPT but I do stuff with them. I'm not giving a talk however. Just hanging out, blogging, drinking, etc. Will you be there? I'll be spending a lot of time at the NASA GLAST/Swift/XMM_Newton booth in the exhibit hall.

BA >> If you happen to be getting into Seattle the day before the AAS starts and you need something to offset the upcoming intellectual overload of the conference, may I suggest this.

The best possible use of two hours in Seattle, guaranteed.

I'm not presenting either... nice for a change. The NASA booth should not be hard to find! I'm there Sat morning and my flight leaves Tuesday night. See you there!

If I can get a load up there, I'll try and be there, Phil.

Look for a white Peterbilt with gray fenders.

Oddly enough, I get into Portland more often than Seattle. Do you get down there much?

Bumpity bump... in case any other Seattlites missed this the first time 'round.
