Since I had to leave so early to be back at work :( I am back home as of Sunday 1:50PM EDT.

Everybody who wants to report that they made it back home safe and sound can post it right here.

All I can say is... good times. ;)

I got home about 3:30pm CDT Mon. 23 and my car is still in it's parking space, Scarlett wants attention and Scrubs is currently airing on Comedy Central. As much as I wish I'd made more of my TAM 6 experience... oh, say, like actually saying hello to SC who I recognized on sight... I'm O.K. and it's good to be home.

I got home about five hours ago and wonder where TAM went - by too quickly...:p

I was half tempted to try and change my flight to Sunday evening because I was worried about Scarlett. After lots of food and water and scratching I am o.k. with coming home when I did. Plut it allowed me to hang out with people Sunday night, to see and speak with Randi Monday morning and to pass my travelling TAM1 t-shirt off to my beloved Brit buddy (of several who I claim {Brodski, Dr. A, etc.} Tim.

Even worried about her, how the Eff does 4 days go by as quickly as they do...?

Another one home safely. Frickin' hot drive across the mohave. The A/C kept me comfortable, but I do have a BBQ'd left arm :). Only delay was a flat right when I left I5 to get on 152. It was still 91F in the shade wher I changed it.

The real life version of my avatar treated me as I expected, an "oh, it's you" look and then he proceded to ignore me :D

Nice seeing everyone again. I met a few more of you this year (I'm a really shy type). Hey, in another 10 or 15 years, I'll have met everyone.

See y'all next year!

I got home around 20:00 CST. And now I should really try to get some sleep, and hopefully tomorrow start a TATDIKAOPFTF for TAM 6 thread.

Got home 10 hours ago, after a veeeery long flight. Going to bed for the first time since Saturday night in a few minutes, our cat allowing.

After Monday morning's wee hour city photo shoot, I slept in enough to check out just in time. My flight wasn't until 4:30pm, so getting to the airport was mellow.

When I got back to Sacramento, the air was choked with wildfire smoke blowing down from the north (I think).

More importantly, I gave the kitties some attention then dashed off to see Marié Digby at a local dive. Two many openers, but wow; this young lady's got talent. She played her set with exuberance, quiet sincerity, and raucous rock & roll sensibilities. All the while VERY connected to her VERY admiring audience. I was VERY demographically misplaced, but neither she nor I cared.

Got home Monday around 2 PM after an overnight flight, 3 hour layover and an hour drive home from the airport. I've got 128 blog posts in my Google reader to catch up on :-)

I thought about this as I stared blankly at the bulkhead of the 2:45 minute flight I had from Las Vegas to Austin and then again during the 45 minute flight I had from Austin to Dallas that my total air time didn't constitute a consideration worthy encapsulation to, say, Hawaii or the East Coast of the U.S., much less the flights our European attendees or Asian and Aussie ones did.

/me salutes your perseverance

I got back not so long ago after a straightforward enough flight, and am remarkably unjetlagged enough to be straight back at work.

I had an absolutely fantastic time and so had to drop by here to say hi to all the amazing people I met! See you next year, or hopefully sooner!

Back in Casa Hutch about 5PM Tuesday, made a better connection in Dallas that got me home about 90 minutes early.

Tired--but can't afford to be, I may be on a plane Thursday for the UAE for a week's worth of meetings.

But WTH. It was sure a lot of fun while it lasted.

Our bodies got home around 1AM on monday...minds are still at TAM...

dualism...

glenn:rolleyes:

I got home Sunday at about 11:15 PM (23:15). I left Vegas after the papers, as planned, but then sat in traffic the first 20 miles or so up the mountain. The rest of the drive my little car fought a slightly-smoky headwind. But, these delays afforded me a really pretty sunset. :)

My cats also ignored me when I got in. LOL But I figure my petsitters did a good job if my homecoming isn't a big deal. :D

I miss all you guys already. :( I have yet to meet another skeptic in Bakersfield, and I've been here almost three years.
