I loved this show when it came out. Unfortunately, it only lasted as long as 'Police Squad'.

From the Comedy Central Page, is this quote, well before Iraq.

Not since Ford has a President been in so many wacky mishaps as George W. Bush. Though sometimes bumbling, George does his job with the best of intentions. (And often, the worst of results!) Fortunately for George he has his loving and wise wife Laura to show him the error of his ways.

I actually thought it was rather funny. But shouldn't this be more of an entertainment forum post than a political one? Surely you aren't trying to make a tv show that got cancelled a basis for your hate for Bush. I mean even you can't be that desperate and stupid, can you?

Ah, Parker and Stone.

Really, an interesting dynamic, what with characters who are, indeed, "based on actual people either living or dead" mixed in with components of the sitcom types (wacky neighbor, maid, etc.) we know so well.

Like it or not, at times Timothy Bottoms so nailed GWB that it was eerie!

I liked the show. I thougt it went a bit too far but it was damn funny and Timothy Bottoms did one of the best GWBs I ever saw.
