More hilarious lies from Christine O'Donnell. Christine O'Donnell was a big promoter of rabid anti-Semite Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic movie The Passion of the Christ. A very profitable movie it was.

Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell (R) yesterday told Delaware voters a big fib that she worked for a "nonprofit" when doing marketing for Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ," real-world experience that she said claims her best suited to represent the state in office.

"What I do is nonprofit work, I take on clients," O'Donnell said when asked about critiques she is unqualified in video you can watch below. "I have a very extensive client history from working with Icon Productions at the 'Passion of the Christ.'"

Yes, the same Icon Productions that shattered box office records with "Passion of the Christ" in 2004. It's not listed in the nonprofit disclosure databases, and Icon's own description doesn't include any mention of being a nonprofit.

Wait, so she's lying about Mel Gibson? I thought she said she wouldn't lie about Nazis?

Oops, that was "wouldn't lie TO the Nazis".

My bad.

Could it not be that she worked for a non-profit organization that was promoting Mel's profit-driven movie?

Nope, she says she worked as an independent marketing consultant with Icon.
Weren't there a number of non profits involved in the marketing of that movie. All of these were working with ICon. I don't see where she said ICon was a non profit.

BTW Just because I don't think she said ICon was a non profit doesn't mean I support her. But it is silly the amount of effort that is spent on every little word she says.

I think that this was just an innocent misunderstanding on her part. Her private consulting gig with Icon was probably so mismanaged that she did not turn a profit. Therefore her enterprise is a non-profit organization.

I think she is hoping to talk herself into a string of lucrative speaking engagements like Sarah Palin.
There's a lot more money to be made by losing an election as a teabagger than winning one.

Regardless of whether you are a DEM or REP, or just someone like me, laughing on the sidelines, you have to admit, she is a simpleminded, wingnut Palin Clone. You know it is bad when Carl Rowe is forced to endorse her despite his "better" judgment.

I am not a witch...I promise.

Well, the alternative is for the Democrats to talk about their stewardship of the country....

Well, for one thing, we still have a banking system after the debacle of the previous eight years, so I think it is a pretty good discussion for the dems to have. At least, that is, with people with an I.Q. above room temperature.

I bolded the critical part of your comment. Like it or lump it, there is a SIGNIFICANT portion of the population in the USA (and here to) that have IQs hovering around room temperature.
