It is important to note that Russ Targ was a performing stage magician before becoming a performing CIA physician! I don't believe Randi mentions this fact in his books, or anywhere else for that matter, which is a significant oversight in his journalistic presentation and as such raises questions about the accuracy of reportage coming from that source.

They are both manifestations of deception and trickery and qualities needed whilst observing and controlling these experiments. Targ has that knowledge and experience and I believe that Randi has failed to mention this at all in any of his books.

Targ fails to mention this 'experience' as well. Perhaps it is not as applicable or as strong as you assert.

What is the source for this? Why has Targ not mentioned it in the fact sheet?

Do you still believe Geller to be the real deal? If so how do you reconcile this with the fact you said his performances are tricks that can be replicated by any con artist?
