Yes, that's TAM8 and not 9. I was asked by a former JREF staffer if I could help out by taking photos of the two attendees who won an auction to have dinner with Ben Radford. The idea was to have a print made of these gentlemen having dinner with Ben, get Ben to autograph a copy for each of them and send it to them. For unknown reasons this never happened and worse, despite Brian Thompson's best efforts, he has no knowledge of where the photo CD I sent to JREF is or the names of either of the auction winners. (One of whom found me at TAM9 but I never received an email from him with his address.)

Yes, I have the photos I took on file here. So If someone out there knows how to contact either or both of these guys please let me know. I'll get another CD directly to them or through the JREF. Here's one of the photos.

The guy in the middle is Ben Radford.

:duck:

My spies have identified Greg Lessely as the gent on the right. So, Ben and Greg. Any idea who the other fellow is?

I no longer have the piece of paper with the auction winners on it. That was sent back to the JREF along with all the other paperwork for the auctions. I do have a list in e-mail, but it isn't divided into who got what, only their names and amounts paid. I no longer have a way to eliminate possibilities. You'll need to speak to someone at the JREF.

P.S. You might try asking Ben. He signed autographs for both, and I gave him their addresses so he could send along copies of his book. Also, Chip is the one who took the photographs and may recall. And Teek had the receipts last I checked.

Some serious detective work the last couple of days leads me to believe the other gent is Bennett S. Greenspan. Will be contacting him to see if I'm right. (Ben didn't recall names but provided some useful clues....)

I wonder if he's any relation to Bennett Cerf?

Aha. I remember now. That is correct.

Thanks to all (with a special tip of the hat to Bart Farkas) who PMed/emailed with leads and suggestions. Will be sending a CD of the photos I took directly to both gents.
